  That tree could probably be seriously useful if you wanted to know who to ‘network’ with in a particular blogging world. All it would take would be for you to hang around those blogs regularly.
  I find networking to that degree distasteful, personally. I know that many do it. They’re the same guys who only go to parties to ‘network’ and are only your friend so that they can ‘network’ with your friends, or have you as a part of their network or referral tree. Blogs have a habit of encouraging that kind of thing – it all depends, however, on what you’re into yourself, I guess.
