		<description>It's funny because SEO's take a really bad rap, but I wonder how often that it's because people do bone-headed stuff on their own *thinking* their doing real SEO, it doesn't work, and then they say, "see, that SEO stuff doesn't work."</description>

		<description>I bet there are hundreds, even thousands of companies at different levels doing the same kind of thing.

Never mind the ones who've already done it time and again.

The mistake would be to assume that any of them know a thing about SEO just because they should.

(Or at least they should be hiring people who do.)

They might be giants offline, but most big companies are still babes in the woods online.</description>
