Good idea as far as finding blog content by answering question there. I recently blogged about doing market research by doing the same:

I have to respectfully disagree. I have been at Yahoo Answers on and off for close to a year (after discovering Yahoo answers when writing a research article and a REALLY bad "best answer" came up in search.

Since then this "top contributor" feature and voting continues to reward posers andn persond with too much time on their hands with best answers that are often VERY wrong (at least in my field of expertise: fish). I do not have the time to keep posting like these persons do and since I post scientific based answers, not anecdotal popular BS, I do not get picked often more importantly (as this is not about me), the hobbby which I love slips another notch downhill as VERY bad information gets spread by this horrible forum.

They don't appear to like quotes. It works okay if you take off quotes but it's not going to be an exact match.

well, I tried to add an rss feed and it does not work as well as I had hoped for it. It seems that if you add a term that has multiple keywords in it, the feed does not function properly. For example, I tried "increase sales". The feed from that is http://answers.yahoo.com/rss/searchq?p=%26quot%3Bincrease+sales%26quot%3B

That feed however does not work.

Hi Michael,

Excellent post. Few of our team members complained about finding good topics for their blogs. I believe that you just solved that problem for us.

I'm guessing that is against their terms, but maybe sending them to a comparison landing page that has actual helpful info?

Hey Michael,
I haven't played with Yahoo! Answers much, but have you had much luck with tossing in an affiliate link or CPA offer in there?

Does it convert?
